Pennsylvania Nursing Home Administrators (NHA) Practice Exam

The correct choice emphasizes the importance of comprehensive documentation of the fire drill. A written report for a fire drill should include detailed information such as the specifics of the drill, the actions taken, the participants involved (including staff, residents, and any other relevant personnel), and observations made during the drill. This thorough documentation is essential for assessing the effectiveness of the drill, ensuring that everyone understands their roles in an emergency, and providing a basis for potential improvements in the facility's emergency preparedness plans.

By capturing all these elements, the report facilitates compliance with regulatory requirements and enhances overall safety in the nursing home environment. This level of detail is critical for evaluating the performance of the staff, understanding the effectiveness of evacuation procedures, and addressing any issues that may arise during the drill.
